Are items cooked or prepared in chametz vessels before Pesach (wine, jam, etc.) permitted on Pesach?
Synopsis
The Rema rules that anything cooked in chametz vessels — such as cooked wine or jam — is forbidden on Pesach, but lenient on the last Yom Tov. If a trace (mashehu) of such items is mixed into other food, we do not prohibit the mixture.
