Is it permitted to speak between the blessing of Geulah (redemption) and the Maariv Amidah?
Synopsis
The Mechaber and virtually all authorities rule that one may not speak between Geulah and the Amidah at Maariv. The Mishnah Berurah adds that this applies even after Barchu, before the first blessing of Shema, if one intends to pray Maariv with the congregation.
