May a human partition (mechitzat bnei adam) be formed to help someone who inadvertently exited the techum return within it?
Synopsis
When someone exits the techum inadvertently, people who have an eruv in that direction may form a human wall around him to effectively create a kosher partition, enabling him to walk within it back to his techum. This is only permitted for inadvertent exit and only if the partition-makers do not know they are being used as a partition.
