If a person has one foot inside the techum and one foot outside when Shabbat begins, may he enter the city?
Synopsis
When a person is straddling the techum boundary at onset of Shabbat, the legal outcome depends on whether the majority of the body is inside or outside. The Mechaber rules that one foot outside is treated as still inside because the majority of the body remains within.
