May a challal (son of a disqualified priestly union) perform Birkat Kohanim?
Synopsis
The Mechaber rules simply: a challal may not perform Birkat Kohanim. The Biur Halacha adds that the Peri Megadim agrees with the Peri Chadash that a challal who ascends violates a positive commandment, just like a non-Kohen.
