May an individual (not a chazan) recite Birkat Kohanim (the Priestly Blessing) during the Amidah?
Synopsis
The Mechaber rules an individual does not say Birkat Kohanim. The Rema notes this is the principled ruling but that common practice diverges and permits it. The Aruch HaShulchan reports that in his time the individual never said it.
