Can the parties perform reciprocal bitul reshut — first one group renounces to another, and then the second group renounces back — so each can carry in turn?
Synopsis
The Mechaber rules that mutual sequential bitul reshut is permitted. The Magen Avraham and Mishnah Berurah clarify that when multiple people haven't eruved, they must go in turns since groups cannot renounce collectively as guests.
