Does bitul reshut apply from house to house (not just in a shared courtyard)?
Synopsis
The Mechaber rules bitul reshut applies from house to house when there is an opening between them and no eruv. After bitul, the one who renounced may carry from his house to his fellow's but not back. The Rema adds a minority view requiring the renouncer to retain one room.
