When the child holds a coin (dinar) rather than a stone, may the parent even hold the child's hand while the child walks on his own?
Synopsis
The Mechaber forbids even holding a walking child's hand when the child holds a coin, lest it drop and the parent pick it up. There is a dissenting opinion that holding the hand alone (without carrying) is permitted.
