Is there a mitzvah to eat hot food on Shabbat?
Synopsis
The Rema and Aruch HaShulchan rule that it is a mitzvah to insulate food so that one has hot food on Shabbat, as this is kavod (honor) and oneg (delight) of Shabbat. One who refuses hot food on Shabbat out of theological objection may be suspected of heresy.
