Ramban
R' Moshe ben Nachman (1194-1270) was a leading Spanish Sephardi halakhic authority, biblical exegete, and philosopher active in medieval Catalonia. He is renowned for his comprehensive novellae on the Talmud, his biblical commentary, and his theological writings, which profoundly influenced Sephardi tradition and established him as a primary source cited in all subsequent halakhic works. Following his expulsion from Spain, he moved to Eretz Yisrael where he continued his scholarly work until his death.
