Must a woman who recently gave birth (yoledet) wait before entering a synagogue, even if she is not niddah?

PrayerRitual Purity

Synopsis

Some communities mistakenly required a yoledet to wait 40 days for a male birth or 80 days for a female birth before entering the synagogue. The Mishnah Berurah cites R' Yerucham that this is an erroneous custom that should be actively protested.
