Is a candle that was lit on Shabbat for a woman in childbirth or a dangerously ill person permitted to be moved after it goes out (once their need has passed)?

ShabbatMuktzeh

Synopsis

All authorities agree: a candle lit on Shabbat itself (not before Shabbat) for a woman in childbirth or dangerously ill person is permitted to be moved after it goes out, once the need has passed. The principle is 'ein muktzeh l'chatzi Shabbat' — something that was not muktzeh at bein hashmashot cannot become muktzeh for the rest of Shabbat. The same applies to one who lit accidentally or intentionally on Shabbat.
