Synopsis
If one hears recent news of death on Shabbat or holiday, and by the end of Shabbat or holiday it becomes distant news, the laws are the same as if hearing distant news after Shabbat or holiday. However, on Shabbat and Yom Tov, private mourning practices are observed.
