If mourning begins before a holiday, does the holiday count toward the thirty-day period?

HolidaysPesachYom Tov Laws

Synopsis

If one observes even one hour of mourning before a holiday, shiva is no longer applicable and the holiday days count toward the thirty-day shloshim period. Thus seven days before, the holiday days, and additional days after together complete thirty days. This applies only if actual mourning was observed in that hour.
