HolidaysPesachYom Tov Laws

Synopsis

If one observes one hour of mourning before Rosh Hashanah, shiva is cancelled due to Rosh Hashanah. Shloshim is then cancelled by Yom Kippur. One may shave on the eve of Yom Kippur. Similarly, burial on the 3rd of Tishrei (making the 9th the end of shiva) allows shaving on the eve of Yom Kippur.
