Must the chazzan stand while reciting Yishtabach?
Synopsis
The Mechaber rules the chazzan must say Yishtabach standing, primarily so that he can proceed directly to Kaddish without interruption. The Magen Avraham and Taz note this requirement applies specifically to the chazzan and not necessarily to an individual, while the Aruch HaShulchan clarifies the standing is for Kaddish, not for Yishtabach itself.
