Until when is Tachanun omitted in the period around Shavuot?
Synopsis
The Rema rules Tachanun is not said from the beginning of Rosh Chodesh Sivan until the 8th of Sivan (the day after Isru Chag). The Mishnah Berurah adds that fasting is also prohibited during this period.
