When is Tachanun omitted because of a circumcision — does the omission apply only at Shacharit or also at Mincha?
Synopsis
The Mechaber rules that the custom is not to perform Nefilat Apayim in a synagogue on a day when a brit milah takes place. The Rema clarifies that on the day of a brit, Tachanun is omitted only at Shacharit (when the circumcision occurs), but at Mincha it is recited even in the presence of the circumcised infant. For a groom, Tachanun is omitted the entire day.
