What is the law when a split wheat kernel is found in dough or baked matzah?

PesachChametz

Synopsis

The Mechaber's primary view permits the rest after removing the kernel's area. The Rema's practice distinguishes: during Pesach, the affected matzah is forbidden but others are permitted; in dough, the whole batch is forbidden. Before Pesach, only removal of the kernel's area is required.
