Which grains may be used to fulfill the obligation of matzah on Pesach?

Synopsis

The Mechaber rules that the obligation of matzah is fulfilled only with the five grains (wheat, barley, spelt, oats, rye), since only these can become chametz. Rice and legumes cannot become chametz and do not fulfill the obligation.
