When does an enclosed area that was not enclosed for dwelling (karpeif) become subject to the rabbinic restriction limiting carrying to four amot?
Synopsis
The Sages restricted carrying in a non-dwelling enclosure only when it exceeds two seahs (approximately 70x70 amot). Below that threshold, full carrying is permitted. Above it, carrying is limited to four amot.
