May one spoon or ladle food from a pot that was removed hot from the fire on Shabbat before the food is fully cooked?
Synopsis
The Mechaber rules that if food is not fully cooked one may not spoon it out since doing so stirs the food (hagasa) and constitutes bishul. If fully cooked it is permitted. The Rema adds a stringency that l'chatchila one should be careful even with fully cooked food.
