Is Shehecheyanu recited on a fruit that does not renew seasonally, or on produce that is available year-round?
Synopsis
Shehecheyanu applies only to seasonal fruits that renew annually. Produce that remains available year-round or lacks a fixed growing season does not trigger the blessing. Rema applies this to vegetables.
