If both a good wine and a bad wine are present from the start of the meal, what is the correct procedure for blessings?
Synopsis
When two wines of different quality are present simultaneously, the Shulchan Aruch rules one must recite Borei Pri HaGafen on the better wine immediately, thereby exempting the inferior wine entirely. One should not deliberately bless the inferior wine first to then recite HaTov VeHaMeitiv.
