Are wide boards (4 tefachim wide) prohibited as s'chach?
Synopsis
Boards 4 tefachim wide are rabbinically prohibited as s'chach due to the gezeirah of tikrah (lest one think being under a regular roof is like a sukkah). Under 4 tefachim is valid. Custom is not to use boards at all.
