Does one fulfill the obligation if one swallowed matza without chewing it?

PesachSeder

Synopsis

The Mechaber rules that swallowing matza without chewing fulfills the obligation b'dieved, but swallowing marror does not because one must taste the bitterness. The Acharonim explain the distinction between swallowing (which is still 'eating') and cooking matza (which removes the matza status entirely).
