Is chametz lent by an Israelite to a non-Jew and taken as a pledge permitted if the Israelite does not expressly declare 'it shall be yours from now if I don't repay'?

PesachChametz Ownership

Synopsis

An Israelite who lends to a non-Jew on his chametz must expressly declare the condition 'from now it shall be yours if I don't repay' for the pledge to be effective. Without this declaration, the chametz remains owned by the Israelite and is prohibited.
