At what moment must the blessing over the shituf be recited?
Synopsis
The Mechaber rules that the blessing is recited either when collecting the food from residents or when transferring ownership (zikuy) to them. The Taz analyzes the Tur's formulation and concludes both refer to different methods of collection, with the blessing timing tied to each. The Aruch HaShulchan affirms the blessing may be recited at the time of collection or afterward but not before.
