Does a Jew who lent or rented his house to a non-Jew restrict other Jews in the courtyard?

ShabbatEruvin

Synopsis

The Rema rules that a Jew who rented or lent his house to a non-Jew does not restrict others in the courtyard — because he did not intend by the rental to cause restriction. However, if the non-Jew's own house is involved, a separate rental for eruv purposes is still needed.
