What is the minimum required amount (shiur) for an eruv at the outset, and how is it calculated based on the number of participants?
Synopsis
For 18 or fewer participants, a dried fig's worth (grogeret) per person is required. For more than 18, two meals' worth (18 grogeret) suffices for any number. There is a dispute whether this equals 6 or 8 eggs.
