May a desert wanderer who has food/provisions perform labor on any of the seven days (including days that might not be Shabbat)?
Synopsis
All authorities agree that as long as the wanderer has provisions, he is forbidden from performing labor on any day of his cycle because each day is a potential Shabbat and the doubt is 'fixed' (kavu'a). Only once provisions are exhausted may he work for minimal sustenance.
