Is it permitted to squeeze all other fruits (not olives, grapes, berries, or pomegranates) on Shabbat?
Synopsis
The Mechaber permits squeezing all other fruits. The Rema qualifies this: in a place where certain fruits are customarily squeezed for drinking, those fruits take on the status of berries and pomegranates. The Taz and MB disagree on whether this means even for the purpose of drinking their juice.
