If the inner (left) leg of a heh is perforated after writing, how much must remain for the tefillin to be valid?
Synopsis
The Rosh holds that any amount remaining in the inner leg of a heh is valid. Other poskim require an amount equal to a small letter (a yud). The Rema rules in accordance with the other poskim, and this is the halacha.
