If one mistakenly says 'Atah' (beginning of a weekday blessing) on Shabbat — must he complete the blessing of 'Atah Chonen'?
Synopsis
The Mechaber distinguishes: if one thought it was a weekday and said 'Atah,' he must complete the weekday blessing; if he knew it was Shabbat but said 'Atah' inadvertently, he does not complete it. The Magen Avraham narrows the lenient rule to Shacharit only.
