Must one wear special/nice clothing for Shabbat?
Synopsis
There is broad agreement that one must wear clothing different from and nicer than weekday clothing for Shabbat, derived from 'v'kibadto.' The Mishnah Berurah and Aruch HaShulchan specify ideally all garments including underwear should be changed, and if possible a separate Shabbat tallit is preferable.
