Is one obligated in shiviyas behemah (animal's Shabbat rest) on Yom Tov, or only on Shabbat?
Synopsis
The Rema rules that shiviyas behemah applies only to Shabbat and not Yom Tov. The Maharshal (Yam Shel Shlomo) disagrees, arguing Yom Tov and Shabbat are equivalent. Later authorities are divided.
