BlessingsBlessings on Natural Phenomena

Synopsis

The Mechaber rules the opportunity is lost once fruit has grown; the Gra and Eliyah Rabbah disagree, holding the blessing may still be recited; the Mishnah Berurah attempts to reconcile all views, ruling practically that once fruit is fully ripe (eligible for Shehecheyanu), this blessing should no longer be said.
